23 Jan How do you exercise chest, arms, shoulders on a 3G Cardio AVT plate?
The 3G Cardio AVT 5.0 Vibration Machine and 3G Cardio AVT 6.0 Vibration Machine offer ergonomically-correct handles, a comfortable vibration platform and overall stability and power to work the chest, arms, shoulders and rest of the upper body.
Training on a vibration machine is similar to traditional methods, but offers the chance to work out muscles much more efficiently and with less risk to the joints and ligaments.
Studies show accelerated vibration training may enable the user to work up to 95 percent of the muscle fibers, compared to as little as 20 percent with standard gym equipment.
The muscles contract in response to the plate vibration and movement, resulting in rapid contractions and accelerated results. The vibrations create instability, which the body senses and reflexively contracts muscles involuntarily to stabilize and react.
You do not stand on the vibration machine for long increments of time such as when using a treadmill or elliptical.
Stretch on your own or using the machine and then you’re ready to start the upper body workout.
Choose a hertz level setting between 30-50 – you will determine quickly what settings work the best – and you’re on your way. Hold these positions at the mid-point of the exercise, or perform them slowly through the complete motion. You will find which ways work the best for you on each exercise and give the best workout.
Here are some upper body exercises to try:
* Triceps Dip
* Biceps Curl
* Bent Over Row
* Front Raise
* Shoulder Press
* Push Up
* Abdominal Crunch
* Dip
Tip: Vary width of hand placement to slightly change exercises.
